people have demanded....so ye shall receive

People have been beating down my door for the pork tenderloin recipe. And by beating down the door I mean a few people left a couple of comments. But I am not one to disappoint.

My friend Jennifer gets the credit for this recipe (check out her blog....she is really funny....but don't tell her....she already knows.) I'm pretty sure she didn't make it up. But I did get it from her. And we eat this all the time. It's so easy, it makes the house smell good, and it is SO good.

So drum roll please......

Bacon Wrapped Pork Tenderloin
1 pork tenderloin, cleaned and trimmed (*you can buy a two pack at Wal Mart..use one, freeze one)
3 slices of bacon (*optional...but you may want to change the name)
1 Tbsp garlic powder
1 tsp lawry's seasoned salt
1 tsp dried crumbled leaf basil
1/2 tsp dried crumbled leaf oregano
1 tsp black pepper
olive oil

Combine garlic powder, seasoned salt, basil, oregano, and black pepper; rub seasoning all oven the pork tenderloin. Wrap pork with bacon and secure with toothpicks. Take your olive oil and coat well. Place in a 9 x 13 pan and bake uncovered in a 375 to 400 oven for 45 to 60 minutes, or until pork reaches about 155 degrees. Make sure the bacon is really done. remove and wrap in foil. Let stand for 10 minutes before slicing. This is great served on biscuits.

Let me know if you  make it and how you like it!
